Privacy policy

Caswell Mall ("we", "us", "our") collects only the personal information we need to run this store, in line with South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). What we collect: your name and email when you create an account or sign in with Google; delivery addresses you save; order and payment confirmation details (full card details are handled by PayFast, not us); chat, review and marketing activity, held by our platform partner Casvelia; and contact form or newsletter sign-up details. Why: to create and manage your account, process and deliver orders, respond to enquiries, and — only with your consent — send marketing messages. You can withdraw marketing consent at any time. Who we share it with: Supabase (accounts, addresses, checkout sessions), Casvelia (catalogue, orders, chat, marketing, reviews), PayFast (payment processing), our courier partners (delivery), and Google (if you sign in with Google). We do not sell your information. Your rights under POPIA: you can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to direct marketing, withdraw consent, and complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa (enquiries@inforegulator.org.za) if you believe we've mishandled your information. We keep account and order records for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterwards to meet tax and accounting obligations.
